Vuelta Catalunya

Another sorry,
On the 3rd stage I didn`t make the timecut... thats of course due to my not perfect form... also the asthma problems of the last weeks added to it. But at least I can say I fought all day (half the stage we were 2 and then 3 riders) and we never put a hand to a car or drafted of of one all daz and we were 3 min late...
Wll now I make another (unplaned) trip to Mallorca where I will train again with Gerd Jan Teunisse and well will also work on my mental strenght....
OK of cause I wish my collegs the best of luck... but they have been doing great already!

OK later more
Asta luego

Sorry that I haven#t been writing a lot.
At times its to much... But now I'm back at a race.. and it might sound weired but often (if there is Internet available) thats when I find the most time to do things like write into a blog...
So tomorrow starts my third Tour of Calalunya (I'm really starting to feel old.)
Well the same Prolog as last year 3.8K with a little hill in the middle.
Well and after tomorrow we start climbing around some hills nd mountains....
I hope I'm fit enough to do alright...
Wish me good legs.

Stage 3: Las Torres de Cotillas - Alhama de Murcia 166.5km

Luke Roberts (Milram) wins the queen stage! Making it the second win of the 2010 season for Team Milram. Luke now sits 2nd in the GC, with Thomas Rohregger (Aut) of Team Milram 5th. Team mate Dominik Nerz (Ger) was especially praised by Team Milram Directeur Sportif Ralf Grabsch in his efforts. Now there are 21 riders within 5 seconds of race leader Josep Jufre (Spa) of Astana.

Saturday is stage 4, a 22 km flat and mostly straight time trial (course and profile). Luke and Thomas will need to have a good time trial for either to move into the GC lead tomorrow. I am hoping that Team Milram has a good day tomorrow and that Dominik shows his great time trialing abilities.

Below is the course and profile for stage 3, featuring 2 cat 1 climbs 33 km prior to the finish.
